Identification: If you are not using a French driver's license, you will need to have your country's driver's license and an international drivers license. If your driver's license does not have an issue date over 3 years ago and you have been driving longer than that you can either get a certificate with the date of original issue from the licence authority in your country or bring an older expired drivers license to prove you have been driving a minimum of 3 years. If you have not been driving for 3 years and/or don't have an international drivers license, the excess insurance increases from 230,000 CFP to 500,000 CFP.
